Motel is a nomadic creative studio, catering to artists and visionary businesses by offering web & design services, advising, P.R. and marketing assistance, critical & expository writing, collaborative scheming, and dinner conversation.

From 2003 to 2007, Motel embodied a fine art gallery in a cozy storefront in scenic Portland, Oregon. During its tenure, the gallery housed over 50 exhibitions by nationally-recognized emerging artists and participated in gallery fairs around the US. The gallery enjoyed commercial and critical success, introducing accomplished young artists from New York, California and elsewhere to Portland's burgeoning arts community while providing local and visiting artists exposure to the an international roster of clients, curators and critics.

At the end of 2007, Motel closed its gallery storefront and transitioned from cultivating the careers of young artists to participating hands-on in the creative process. In 2008, Motel added "Projects" to its name to encompass its host of creative services including branding/identity development, website design, self-indulgent print campaigns, collaborative editions, independent curation and other aesthetic shenanigans.
